Recently, our team had the privilege of visiting Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) in Gurgaon. This state-of-the-art hospital is setting new benchmarks in patient care and medical advancements. The visit was part of a knowledge exchange session, where we interacted with FMRI's team of expert doctors. As we toured the hospital, we were impressed by the world-class infrastructure that Fortis Memorial Research Institute offers. Vikas Dua: Leading the Way in Pediatric Hemato-Oncology and BMT

We were honored to meet Dr. Vikas Dua, a renowned pediatric hemato-oncologist and bone marrow transplant (BMT) specialist with over 22 years of experience. He has been involved in more than 1,000 BMT procedures. Dr. Dua and his team are experts in treating complex conditions like sickle cell anemia and blood cancers, particularly prevalent in African nations. He emphasized that bone marrow transplantation is often the only curative treatment for these conditions.

Dr. Dua's team has performed thousands of BMT procedures with high success rates, gaining patients' trust from Bangladesh, the Gulf, CIS countries, and SAARC nations. In addition to BMT, Dr. Dua is highly experienced in treating a wide range of hematological disorders and all types of pediatric cancers.

Arvind Kumar Khurana: A Pioneer in Gastroenterology

We also had the opportunity to meet Dr. Arvind Kumar Khurana, a renowned gastroenterologist with over 40 years of experience and a staggering record of more than 1.5 lakh endoscopic procedures. Dr. Khurana's expertise spans various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within gastroenterology, particularly focusing on ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), endoscopic ultrasound, and capsule endoscopy.

Dr. Khurana's team has pioneered many advanced GI procedures that not only ensure accurate diagnoses but also offer effective treatment options. Impressively, many of these procedures are performed on an outpatient basis, helping to make them more affordable and convenient for patients.
