  • After completing his MBBS from Bangalore University in 1999, MS (General Surgery) from King George's Medical College, Lucknow University 2003, and MCh (Neuro Surgery), Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum, 2006
  • He has been trained at the National Institute of Mental Health and Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. 
  • Dr. Gupta has experience working in all major corporate hospitals, including MAX, B L Kapoor, and Indian Spinal, and Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh.
  • He left for the United States in 2017 to pursue advanced training and fellowship in the minimally invasive brain (UVA Medical Center, Pittsburgh) and spine surgery (AGH, Pittsburgh), including neuro-oncology, stereotactic radiosurgery, and functional neurosurgery.
  • Being trained in endoscopic skull base surgery at Ohio State Medical Center, he was awarded an NTRI fellowship at Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. 
  • He has many publications in various highly acclaimed international journals and numerous presentations at various national and international scientific meetings. 
  • He is also a reviewer for international publications like the Journal of Neuro-once Surgery and the Journal of Operative Neurosurgery.
  • He has keenly updated his surgical skills and knowledge about the latest advances in Neurosurgery for leading spine & brain diseases with newer technology. 
  • Dr. Gupta is a well-known member of the Neurological Society of India, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Skull Base Surgery Society of India (SBSSI), the Neurotrauma Society of India, the Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology (ISNO), the Delhi Neurological Association (DNA), the Walter Dandy Society, the Asian Congress of Neurosurgical Surgeons, and the Neurosurgical Oncology Society of India.
