Dr. Anand M is an expert urologist and laparoscopic surgeon.
With 36 years of profound experience, he has performed over 3500 prostate operations and 375 holmium laser prostatectomies.
His expertise has been refined in the areas of reconstructive urology, endoscopic procedures for urinary stones, female urology, and laser surgical operations for prostate and urolithiasis.
His areas of expertise include pediatric urology, reconstructive urology, minimally invasive urology, management of urinary tract infections (UTI), and prostate laser surgery treatment.
He graduated from Kasturba Medical College with an MBBS in 1988, an MS in General Surgery in 1991.
Later, he earned an MCh in Urology/Genito-Urinary Surgery with honors from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 1994.
His contributions to the urology sector are highlighted by his hosting of the Holmium workshop and his receipt of the Empire Weist Urodynamic prize.
He has been on radio shows, such as Red FM's RJ Disha Morning Show, and has taken part in discussions and panel discussions.
He is also an Honorary Professor of Urology in DNB programs, where he mentors and guides future urologists.
