• Dr. Ayyappan V Nair is a prominent shoulder surgeon whose prime specialization lies in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He possesses the experience of 18 years.
• His proficiency is in the treatment of different joint problems. For the shoulder joint, he specializes in treatment and procedures like bankart repair, shoulder and reverse shoulder replacement surgery, rotator cuff injuries and shoulder injection for biceps tendinitis.
• For knee surgical procedures, he excels in Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and knee replacement. Further, he also specializes in non-surgical shoulder treatments such as cold shoulder physiotherapy and ligament reconstruction.

• He is a renowned figure for the development of the Arthroscopy technique at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Lakshadweep Islands. The sophisticated technique was performed for the first time on such a remote island in India.
• Dr. Nair was also a member of India’s first-hand transplant team. He has also attended, participated and presented in numerous conferences, meetings and seminars.
• Besides more than the enlisted publications, Dr. Ayyappan has also shed light on creating awareness through articles published in reputed journals such as the European Society of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Biointerphases, and many more.
• Dr. Ayyappan V Nair, along with his fellow physicians, has also organized an international-level conference on the topic ‘AI solutions for Shoulder Surgeries.’
