Dr. Chandrasekaran Venkataraman is a well-established nephrologist with over 31 years of clinical experience.
He has performed approximately 375 kidney transplants, encompassing both live donor and deceased donor procedures, as well as 20 combined liver kidney transplants.
He offers critical care nephrology services such as SLED, CRRT, and liver dialysis to critically ill patients with medical, surgical, acute, and chronic liver diseases, including those post liver transplant.
Dr. Venkataraman performs a wide range of interventions, including kidney biopsies, permcath insertions, and percutaneous CAPD catheter insertions.
His expertise lies in diagnosing and managing disorders such as kidney transplantation, kidney stones, nephrotic syndrome, diabetes, chronic renal failure, and urinary tract infections.
Dr. Venkataraman’s qualifications include an MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College, Thanjavur, in 1993 and an MD in General Medicine from Madras Medical College, Chennai, in 1998.
He earned a DNB in Nephrology from the National Board Of Examination in 2001 and a DM in Nephrology from Madras Medical College, Chennai, in 2004.
