His expertise includes complex transplants, such as ABO-incompatible procedures, transplants in highly sensitized patients, and high-risk cases with significant comorbidities.
Dr. Khullar pioneered the establishment of an online hemodiafiltration unit in North India, offering advanced dialysis services.
He specializes in newer dialysis modalities, peritoneal dialysis, and induction therapy in kidney transplant patients.
The doctor is well-versed in diagnosing and treating infections related to kidney diseases, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, and other kidney-related disorders.

He completed an International Transplant Observership at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA, in 2010 and a Roche Preceptorship in Kidney Transplantation at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, USA, in 2008.
He has led various research projects and served as a national lead investigator in several clinical trials, including the notable DAPA-CKD and Transform studies.
Dr. Dinesh Khullar has published numerous articles in national and international journals and edited the book Lupus Nephritis: Pathogenesis & Current Management.
