Dr. Garima Aggarwal is a renowned renal transplant physician and nephrologist with 14 years of experience.
She specializes in hemofiltration patient treatment for acute renal damage.
Her vast expertise spans the fields of critical care nephrology, single pass albumin, hemo and peritoneal dialysis, kidney disorders, and renal transplants, particularly high-risk transplants.
She effectively carried out a rare transhepatic tunneled hemodialysis catheter insertion into the inferior vena cava as a life-saving surgery for a patient with failed vascular access. There have been no further reports of this approach from India (case sent for publication).
