About Dr. Karthikeyan Damodharan

Dr. Karthikeyan Damodharan is a well-known Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with over 24 years of specialist experience.
He is proficient in performing dialysis fistula angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, lower limb arterial and venous, stenting, IVC filter insertion, laser ablation for varicose veins, liver and renal cancer radiofrequency (RF), microwave ablation, TACE (chemoembolization), Y90-TARE (radioembolization), etc.
He completed his MBBS from Madras Medical College in 2001 and completed postgraduate training in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Damodharan achieved his MRCP (UK) from the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, in 2003 and obtained his FRCR (UK) from the Royal College of Radiologists, London, in 2007.
Additionally, he became a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) in 2017.
He further earned a European board certification in Interventional Radiology (EBIR) in 2019.
He completed a fellowship in vascular intervention at Leicester and a one-year fellowship in advanced interventions at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, USA, to further hone his skills.
In 2019, Dr. Damodharan's qualifications, experience, and academic contributions to interventional radiology led to his invitation to become a Fellow of the Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (FCIRSE).
He has been asked to speak at international radiology conferences and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed international journals.
Dr. Damodharan is a member of the Indian Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology (ISVIR), the British Society of Interventional Radiology, the Singapore Radiology Society, and the Interventional Radiology Society of Singapore.
