• She performs High-Risk Obstetrics, Gynecological Surgeries especially those complicated with problems in pregnancy. 
• Her interests include Maternal-Foetal Medicine, Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery, and newborn and Thoracoscopy surgeries.
• She achieved her MBBS and MD (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from AIIMS, New Delhi & in 1978 and 1981 respectively.
• She has also pursued her MRCOG(UK) - Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists from London in 1996.
• She is an active member of associations such as the Fellow of International Medical Sciences Academy & Fellow of Indian Academy Of Medical Specialities.
