  • He initiated his career in Critical Care Medicine during his tenure abroad as a Consultant in Large Teaching Hospitals and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the late 1980s and 1990s, specializing in managing serious ICU cases such as Sepsis, Shock, and Mechanical Ventilation.
  • He has contributed significantly to research in Sleep Disorders and Bronchoscopy, delivering numerous faculty presentations across India and the USA.
  • With 33 years of teaching experience in Respiratory, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, both domestically and internationally, Dr. Kanwar has mentored numerous postgraduate DNB students and Post Doctoral Fellowship candidates, guiding thesis projects and serving as an examiner for fellowship exams conducted by reputable medical institutions.
