  • Dr. Manoj Padman boasts a 30 -year expertise as a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in pediatric musculoskeletal conditions.
  • He is particularly skilled in hip pathologies, including congenital anomalies, post-infective, and post-traumatic conditions, as well as deformity correction and limb reconstruction.
  • He graduated from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) with a gold medal in Orthopedic Surgery from Pondicherry University in 1994.
  • After that, he did his MS (Orthopaedics) from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry University, in 1997.
  • He holds Diplomate status in Orthopedic Surgery from the National Board of Examinations, in 1997.
  • He also received Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Orthopedics from the UK, he addresses a wide range of issues affecting children and adolescents' musculoskeletal health, and completed basic surgical fellowship (FRCS) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
  • Dr. Padman further trained in Orthopedics in the UK, earning Fellowship (FRCS Trauma & Orthopedic Surgery) from the Intercollegiate Board of Examinations in 2008.
  • He also completed Pediatric Orthopedic fellowship at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, serving as National Fellow in Pediatric Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery.
  • Dr. Padman's career has been dedicated to establishing comprehensive Pediatric Orthopedic services, motivated by firsthand observations of the existing limitations in pediatric orthopedic care delivery, which inspired him to establish CPOD.
