• Dr. Miohan Y Badgandi is an expert diabetologist and endocrinologist. With his 49 years of experience, he is renowned for the treatment of diabetes and related disorders.
• His specializations expand to all diabetic medical conditions such as Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, insulin pumps and analogs treatment, calcium disorders and treatment, lack of growth, osteoporosis and thyroid diseases.
• He holds expertise in successfully handling the cardiac impact of diabetes with the skills to treat cholesterol-related issues, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases.
• He is experienced with the treatment of reproductive issues in diabetes patients, such as infertility, gestational diabetes, pregnancy-related diabetes, over or under-production of hormones and endocrine gland cancers.  
• Dr. Mohan Y Badgandi started his journey in the medical field with an MBBS obtained from the University of Bombay in 1975. He continued his education by pursuing an MS from GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry, in 1978.
• Later, he obtained MRCP and FRCP in 1995 and 2002.

• Dr. Badgandi was also recognized by the European Association for the Study of Diabetes for his research and discovery of novel mechanisms of insulin-regulated glucose uptake.
• He has been a prominent participant in globally held conferences by the British Endocrine Society. His educational initiatives and dedication to imparting knowledge and education at those conferences earned him an ‘Honor’ at their award ceremony.
• Dr. Badgandi was part of the expert committee in the India hypoglycemia study group, where he contributed to the review article titled ‘Hypoglycemia in type 2 diabetes: Standpoint of an experts’ committee (India hypoglycemia study group).’
• He is a member of the Karnataka Medical Council, the Endocrine Society of India, the British Ecological Society, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCP), the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, and the European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes.
