About Dr. N. Rajesh Kar

Dr. N. Rajesh Kar is a well-accomplished radiation oncologist with 20 years of expertise in treating cancer patients.
His field of expertise is thyroidectomy, chelation therapy, lumpectomy, external beam radiation for prostate cancer, and hormone therapy for breast cancer.
Dr. Kar is renowned for external beam radiotherapy including 2D technique, three dimensional conformal radiation technique, Intensity Modulated Radiation Technique (IMRT) and Image-Guided Radiation Technique (IGRT).
He specializes in medical oncology, sentinel node biopsy, stereotactic techniques (including SRS, SRT and SBRT), brachytherapy and management of chemotherapy in solid tumors and concurrent chemo-radiation.
He graduated from I.R.T. Perundurai Medical College and Research Centre with an MBBS in 2004 and a DMRT from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (TNMGRMU) in 2009.
He has treated over 5000 cancer patients since starting his practice as an independent consultant.
Dr. N. Rajesh Kar has provided free cancer treatment to over a thousand patients at the private CBCC-Saveetha Dental College in Chennai as part of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Scheme.
He provided chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments even throughout the pandemic and lockdown.
He has authored numerous works in both national and international journals, including the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research and the Indian Journal of Cancer.
