• Dr. (Prof.) Narendra Nath Khanna is an eminent Interventional Cardiologist with over 25 years of experience.
• With a remarkable record, he has performed over 9000 invasive/interventional procedures, establishing interventional cardiology services across multiple cities in India, including Varanasi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and neighboring countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
• He is a pioneer in novel techniques such as percutaneous mechanical pulmonary thrombectomy, Endovascular Treatment of Aortic Aneurysms, ischemia & gangrene of the limbs, Endovenous Laser Therapy, and below-knee interventions in India.
• Dr. Khanna is credited as one of the early adopters of the Radial Angiography Programme and Mobile Cath Labs.
• He is recognized for his outstanding contributions to Medicine (Cardiology) and community service.
• The Honorable Governor of UP appointed him Honorary Professor of Cardiology at LPS Institute of Cardiology, GSVM Medical College, Kanpur.
• He received specialized training in percutaneous aortic valve implantations, heart failure devices, and radio-frequency ablation for sympathetic denervation of renal arteries.
• After completing his MBBS from the University of Lucknow in 1989, he also achieved an MD (General Medicine) from the University of Lucknow in 1992 and a DM (Cardiology) from Kanpur University in 1996.
