Dr. Kar has authored numerous research papers and has received awards for his contributions to the field.
He is a member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG), the Indian National Society for the Study of the Liver (INASL), the Association of Physicians of India (API), the Indian Academy of Digestive Diseases, and the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India.
