About Dr. P Suryanarayan

Dr. P. Suryanarayan is an orthopedic surgeon with over 41 years of experience.
His areas of specialization are hip and knee revision surgeries, osteotomies, acetabular trauma, and bone banking.
Procedures such as complex joint replacement surgeries of dysplastic and stiff joints, robotic-assisted knee replacement surgeries, salvage and limb reconstruction in skeletal tumors, and computer-assisted minimal access joint replacement are also his forte.
Dr. Suryanarayan completed his MBBS at the University of Bombay in 1983 and his MS in Orthopedics at Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Mumbai in 1985.
He holds a Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery from the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York.
To further his knowledge, he underwent hip and knee surgery training at reputed institutions in Switzerland and Germany.
The extensive work done by him in bone banking at the Chinese University in Hong Kong is well-known.
His outstanding performance during his MS in Orthopedics at the University of Bombay won him a gold medal.
The prestigious Indo-German Fellowship was conferred upon him by the Hip Service Inselspital in Bern, Switzerland.
Dr. Suryanarayan is a prolific speaker and has given presentations at international conferences in South Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and many other countries.
He has also actively participated in numerous national conferences in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pondicherry, Jaipur, and other cities.
His research caliber is evident from his numerous publications in well-known journals such as the Journal of Robotic Surgery and the Indian Journal of Orthopaedics.
