Dr. Parimala completed her MBBS from Karnataka Medical College, Hubli, in 1982, followed by DGO in 1984, and MD from Karnataka Medical College in 1985.
She received specialized training, including FICS, in 1998 from Birmingham, UK, and FICOG.
She further pursued a WHO Fellowship in Safe Motherhood to enhance her expertise.
She was also honored with prestigious awards such as the Aryabhatta Award, Mother Teresa Award, and a Gold Medal for Active Management of Septic Abortion by the Rotary Club Bangalore in 1998.
