Dr. Pongpanot Sornasakrin is a renowned orthopedist who specializes in orthopedic surgery.
He has been working in the medical arena for 12 years.
With his experience and extensive knowledge about the various problems that can ail the bones and skeletal system, he is an expert in treating:
- Acute traumatic injury of the foot and ankle
- Sports injury affecting the foot and ankle
- Primary and secondary osteoarthritis
He is also adept at fixing the deformities of the foot and ankle like flatfoot, cavus foot, hallux valgus deformity and equinus foot.
He acquired a degree of MD from the Faculty of Medicine at Prince of Songkla University in Thailand in the year 2012. He went on to get a Diploma from the Thai Board of Orthopedics from the same college in 2017.
In 2018, he acquired a Diploma from the Thai Sub-board of Foot and Ankle Surgery from Phramongkutklao Hospital.
In 2019, he pursued a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA.
In addition to treating patients, he has contributed to the medical field through various research and publications over the years. He has written most of these in collaboration with other medical professionals in reputed medical journals like the Journal of Orthopedic Research.
He is an esteemed member of the Royal College of Orthopedic Surgeons.
