He also specializes in the endoscopic management of pancreatic necrosis, including direct endoscopic necrosectomy and endoscopic necrosectomy for walled-off pancreatic necrosis.
Dr. Ravi is also skilled in performing 3rd space endoscopy procedures like endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), and submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection (STER).
He further manages GI bleeding using innovative over-the-slip clips or Ovesco, endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST), and endoscopic variceal ligation (EVL).
Dr. Ravi began his medical journey with an MBBS degree from the Stanley Medical College in Chennai in 1983. Then, he received an MD in medicine from the Madras Medical College in Chennai in 1989.
He also completed his DM in gastroenterology at Madras Medical College, Chennai, in 1995.
He has also conducted several research works, and his papers have been published in renowned journals.
