Dr. Raghuram Sekhar is a highly experienced Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with over 29 years of expertise.
His expertise includes angioplasties, thrombolysis, deep venous reconstruction, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and medical management of various autoimmune and vascular diseases.
The doctor is skilled in thermal ablation for varicose veins, including laser, RF ablation, microwave therapy, and sclerotherapy.
Dr. Sekhar's areas of interest include managing peripheral vascular disease, diabetic foot complications, deep vein thrombosis, non-healing leg wounds, and varicose veins.
He has successfully performed over 10,000 cases of thermal ablation for varicose veins, 4,000 cases of leg angioplasty for limb ischemia, 2,500 cases of dialysis access surgery, 800 cases of DVT/pulmonary embolism catheter thrombolysis, 800 cases of acute limb ischemia procedures, and 200 cases of carotid endarterectomy.
Dr. Sekhar has undergone extensive training in both open surgeries and minimally invasive (keyhole) endovascular techniques for treating vascular conditions.
He has had the opportunity to train numerous prominent doctors nationwide in advanced vascular procedures.
After completing his MBBS and MS, Dr. Sekhar went abroad to gain international experience.
He received a Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) from Edinburgh and Glasgow, UK.
