Dr. Rajneesh Malhotra is a distinguished cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with over 37 years of experience.
His expertise covers heart failure surgery, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), left ventricular assist devices (LVAD), heart transplants, and robotic cardiac surgery.
Dr. Malhotra excels in minimally invasive cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), atrial septal defect (ASD) repairs, and mitral and aortic valve surgeries.
He started his educational journey with an MBBS and an MS in General Surgery from King Georges Medical College, Lucknow, which he completed in 1987 and 1990, respectively.
Later, he specialized in heart surgeries by pursuing an MCh in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College, Kanpur, in 1992.
Dr. Malhotra also holds a Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery from the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, University Hospital, Uppsala, Sweden, and a Fellowship from the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons of India (IACTS).
His international experience includes training in Port Access Cardiac Surgery at Heart Port Training Institute, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, training in Da Vinci Robotic Cardiac Surgery at Invasive Surgery Center, Ohio State University, USA, and training in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery at Medtronic Inc. Minneapolis, USA.
Dr. Malhotra has held significant roles at several renowned medical institutions.
