  • Her expertise lies in gynaec oncology, colposcopy, advanced gynaec laparoscopy, robotic surgery, hysteroscopy, etc.
  • She pioneered robotic gynecological surgery for both cancerous and benign conditions in India.
  • After completing her MBBS from Jammu Medical College in 1987, she also achieved an MD (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from Government Medical College, Jammu, in 1991, and a Diploma in Advanced Endoscopic Gynae Surgery from Giessen School of Endoscopic Surgery, Germany, in 2007.
  • She further achieved Robotic Gynaecological Surgery Training in France in 2010, a Training course for Indo-German doctors in “Advanced Endoscopic Surgery in Gynecology” from Giessen School of Endoscopic Surgery, Germany, and an Observership training program in Uro-gynaecological Oncology at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai, India.
