  • Further specializing in the field, Dr. Gupta obtained a DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examinations in 2004 and a DNB in Urology and Kidney Transplantation from the Institute of Kidney Diseases (IKD) & Research Centre in Ahmedabad in 2008.
  • He is the first to perform donor kidney retrieval by retroperitoneoscopic laparoscopic route, which was the first ever in Rajasthan. It is performed at a few centers in India.
  • His record offered him the opportunity to become chairperson of the Urology Prize Paper session at Transplant Update 2010 held at IKDRC Ahmedabad.
  • He is a constant participant in international-level conferences and workshops. He also conducts regular teaching programs.
