He received advanced training in Cardiac Surgery and Heart Failure Surgery in 2000 at Texas Heart Institute, Houston, Texas, USA, under the mentorship of Dr. Denton Cooley.
He specialized in treating Aortic Aneurysm and Root Replacement at Methodist Hospital, Houston, USA, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia, under Prof. Clifford Hughes.
Dr. Singh is the first Indian to receive the 'Outstanding Fellowship Award' from the Denton A. Cooley Cardiovascular Society, USA.
He is an active member of renowned organizations, including the Indian Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons (IACTS), the Association of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgeons of India (ATVSI), Cardiothoracic Surgical Network (CTS), the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Delhi Medical Association (DMA), and many more.
