• Dr. Basandani is an acclaimed neurosurgeon with 47 years of experience in the field.
• In his long years of medical experience, he has performed several successful surgeries. One of which was when he treated two patients successfully who had dumbbell-shaped tumors. 
• His expertise is in minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, advanced spine surgery, and endoscopic brain surgery. 
• Dr. Shankar Basandani began his medical journey with an MBBS in 1977 and then an MS from a prestigious institute in 1979. He also did an M.Ch in neurosurgery that helped broaden his knowledge in the spectrum. 
• He has published several papers in well-known journals, including the SDMH Index-Journal and the NSSI Journal, that have publicized a few rare cases presented by the doctor.
