  • Dr. Sumit Mrig is an accomplished ENT Surgeon in New Delhi.
  • He is regarded as one of India and Asia's youngest Cochlear Implant Surgeons.
  • He has over 22 years of extensive experience and has performed over 500 cochlear implant surgeries in the last ten years.
  • Dr. Mrig has performed implant surgeries on patients from countries all across the world, including Kenya, Sudan, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Russia, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.
  • He is the first Indian surgeon to start an independent cochlear implant program in Africa.
  • He pioneered binaural cochlear implantation in India, leading the team that performed the country's first binaural cochlear implant surgery.
  • Dr. Mrig specializes in treating deaf patients through BAHA implants, cochlear implants, and bone bridge devices.
