• Dr. Suraphon Assawasuwannakit is the leading internist and gastroenterologist.
• His field of expertise includes cirrhosis, fatty liver, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic diarrhea, gastrointestinal tract disease, viral hepatitis, hepato-gastroenterology, fibrosis, and chronic idiopathic constipation.
• By completing an MD in the Faculty of Medicine from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, Dr. Suraphon started his educational journey.
• Then, he completed his Diploma in  Internal Medicine from the Thai Board of Internal Medicine at Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand.
• He has also earned his second Diploma in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from the Thai Sub-Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Faculty of Medicine at Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
• Apart from his clinical practices, Dr. Assawasuwannakit has received many prestigious certificates on the Multidisciplinary Approach in Hepatology on “Clinical Utility of SCALE-B in the Prediction of Relapse and HBsAg Loss After Antiviral Discontinuation in Asian Chronic Hepatitis B Patients After 2 Years Follow-up” from Thai Association for the Study of the Liver (THASL).
• Later, he gained another certification at The Liver Meeting 2022, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), in Washington, DC, USA.
