Dr. Sushil Azad is a Pediatric Cardiologist and Adult Congenital Heart Disease Specialist with over 25 years of experience.
His expertise extends from neonates to adults, focusing on congenital heart diseases.
He has performed 4500 interventional cardiology procedures across all age groups.
His educational qualifications include MBBS from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, 1999 and MD (Pediatrics) from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, 2003.
He also received a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Fellowship from Madras Medical Mission in 2004, a Fellowship from the National Board, EHIRC, 2006, and an FNB in pediatric Cardiology from the National Board Of Examination in 2007.
He was pivotal in establishing Pediatric Cardiology programs at Medanta and Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.
Dr. Azad initiated the Percutaneous Pulmonary Valve Implantation program at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.
He has authored over 25 research publications and contributed chapters to pediatric cardiology and echocardiography textbooks.
