Dr. Vivek Iyer is a neurologist with over 17 years of clinical experience.
His areas of expertise are intraoperative electrocorticography in epilepsy surgery and treatment of movement disorders.
He completed his MBBS in 2007 and his MD in General Medicine in 2010 at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
In 2014, he earned his DM in Neurology at King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr. Iyer is trained in the pre-surgical evaluation of patients with refractory epilepsy.
During his medical education, he displayed excellence in several subjects and won awards for them, including a gold medal during his DM in Neurology.
Dr. Iyer’s research acumen is evident from the many publications to his name in prestigious journals such as the International Journal of Surgery.
