• Dr. Vivek Mangla is a Gastrointestinal and Hepatopancreatobiliary (GI & HPB) Surgical Oncologist with over 34 years of experience.
• He offers the latest and most effective surgical and medical treatments for diseases and cancers of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, biliary system, rectum, and anal canal.
• His educational journey started with MBBS and MS (GI Surgery) from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi, in 2003 and 2007, respectively.
• Dr. Mangla further achieved an MCh (GI Surgery) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 2010.
• For his MCh in Gastrointestinal and Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary Surgery, he qualified at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, earning one of only three nationwide seats available at that time.
• At AIIMS, Dr. Mangla gained experience handling complex surgeries, complications from smaller centers, redo surgeries, and critically ill patients, as well as routine and prototype surgeries.
• He earned a Fellowship of the Association of Surgeons of India (FAIS) in 2015 and a Fellowship of the Association of Colon & Rectal Surgeons of India (FACRSI) in 2016.
• Dr. Mangla also completed a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS) in HPB Surgery in 2017 and a Traveling Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham, UK.
• He traveled to the US and UK for fellowship programs in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery of the gastrointestinal tract and liver transplant.
• He is a member of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology, Association of Colorectal Surgeons of India, Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, and other such renowned organizations.
• Dr. Mangla is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
