• Won first place in the "Oncology Research Award" in 2019 for clinical research, presented by AIIMS, New Delhi, for the study titled "Modified Gemcitabine and Oxaliplatin or Gemcitabine and Cisplatin in Unresectable Gallbladder Cancer: Results of a Phase III Randomized Controlled Trial."
• Received the "Excellence Award in the Field of Medical Oncology" from the Chancellor of NIMS University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on 25th March 2022.
• Awarded the ASCO IDEA Award in 2002.
• Honored with the opportunity to present an oral paper at the esteemed Annual Meetings of the American Society of Clinical Oncology in 2009 and the European Society for Medical Oncology in 2018.
• Delivered the ISMPO Oration at the Biennial ISMPO-ISO Meeting in Indore in November 2019 on "Gallbladder Cancer: A Wealth of Research Potential."
