Prof. (Dr). V.K. Jain is a prominent Neurosurgeon in New Delhi.

Dr. Jain started his educational journey with an MBBS from King George's Medical College, Lucknow University, in 1974.
He later specialized in neurosurgical procedures, pursuing an MCh in Neurosurgery at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore, in 1981.
The doctor then moved abroad and gained international experience. In 1986, he received a Fellowship in Micro-neurosurgery at Fujita Health University, Japan.
He attended the workshop on Stereotactic Technique in Neurosurgery at Karolinska Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden, in 1998.
Dr. Jain also participated in the Dosimetry and Dose Planning Course at Gamma Knife Centre, Komaki City Hospital, Japan, in 1999.
He was also a visiting fellow in Hannover, Germany, in 2001.
He has trained over 100 surgeons and has mentored numerous students on their theses and dissertations.
Dr. Jain has held leadership roles, including President of the Neurological Society of India.
He serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Postgraduate Medicine, Mumbai, and the Official Journal of the Neurological Society of India.
He has authored multiple publications, including books, journals, and abstracts, with notable work such as "Craniovertebral Junction Anomalies – The Indian Experience," published in 1997.
His insights on neurology and neurosurgery are featured in respected national and international journals, including Surgical Neurology, Journal of Neurosurgery, Neurology India, and the Indian Journal of Neurotrauma.
